Serial LCD Touchscreen Controller is a remote operator interface that can communicate with
a host computer using a typical RS232 connection. Multiple Serial LCD Touchscreen
Controllers can be run from a single serial connection. With the Serial LCD
Controller, only one computer is needed for multiple stations, making it the ideal choice
for fast-food point of sale. The more nodes you have, the more you save. The Serial LCD Controller combines a 320 x 240 pixel graphic LCD
display (4.5" x 3.4"), an analog resistive touch screen, and a high speed
Digital Signal Processor to produce a user interface which is powerful and easy to
integrate into almost any system. The Serial LCD Controller has basic graphics and
touchscreen processing commands built-in to free up the host system from time-consuming
graphics and key scanning routines.
