Serial LCD Bezel:
The LCD and touchscreen can be purchased with an optional black aluminum bezel. This makes
the SC320X240 easy to install into a flat panel with minimum machine work required.
Software Support:
Crystal Visions Technology provides a C library, complete with source code, to help get
your project up to speed quickly. Examples of all features are included. If you are using
a PC based controller, you can have this LCD integrated into your system and designing
screens in under an hour! That includes the time you spend looking for the serial cable
your fellow engineer "borrowed".
Serial Interface:
The SC320X240 communicates via RS232. The communications protocol is 19200 Baud, no
parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit. Data flow control is accomplished using the RTS and CTS
signals. Data to be written to the display and data returned from the touch pad uses the
same RS232 interface. The interface connector is a typical DB9 socket type connector.
Power Requirements:
The 4 pin power connector supplies the controller with +5VDC and +12VDC. The Pin-out is:
- Pin 1 NC
- Pin 2 +12V (For Backlighting)
- Pin 3 +5V
- Pin 4 GND
